Hi Folks,

Just wondering what y'all think of this??

I'm trying a different technique and a different kind of paint.

Just the blue stuff......the rest is still to come. I think it's working so far but I'm looking for feedback. This is the first job where the customer has just told me to go for it and I'm kinda paranaoid that he won't like it!

Thanks

Rob

neat, looks star wars ish

oooh hint hint!
If I were in the market for a custom painted helmet (somebody probably already does this) I'd ask for a storm trooper theme (simple enough?) or darth vader buuut I'm far from needing any such thing so don't mind my bullshittery

Thanks.....this is a W.I.P......the green is masking tape and most of the silver will be covered. It's actualy going to be prudominantly black with the blue on top and in front with silver 1/8" pinstripes as separators.

Thanks for the feedback

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

retro this is really good work. i think it would look better with even more shadows in the shapes, to give the sections a more 3d appearance. like the two shadows in the blue going up the middle. it definately makes it pop.
