Hello there,
I'm having some problems with my 87 Civic. I'm fairly certain I've pin pointed it to the choke (Butterfle valve?) It doesn't seem to close enough so when I'm driving it idles WAY high!! I think it's a spring (I'm not sure what the spring is called) that has worn.
I tried adjusting the idle screw and it does nothing.
I've looked for vacuum leaks and that doesn't seem to be it.
If it is the suspect spring, do I have to remove the entire carb to replace it?
Thanks in advance!
