Got my valve cover back. This guy has been doing work like this for a few years now. The top part of the intake was done as well.
Waiting on a new decal for it.

More , mail man had to walk back a few times..
Score, both sides brand new now.
thats not all though. Bought these as well.
Does anyone have wiring info on this. It's not the hardest job, but I would like them to only work when my headlights are on ?
Best for last, was looking forward to these, don't see many of these around.
Great job!
All of my motors have the black paint peeling off. Do you know what primer and paint was used? Did he treat the aluminum to remove the oil from the more porous alumuinum. I was able to source intake and valve covers. But I have a feeling that paint will too peel over the future decades. I'd love to refinish mine for my other cars in as close to oe fashion as possible. I painted my wiper arms back in 1996 using zincchromate primer (used on aluminum outboard motors at th etime I lived on the ocean in NYC). I haven't looke for that stuff but I know our department of environmental agency has been phasing out chemicals each year deemed hazardous to the environment. i believe zincchromate was on the list.
I added a USDM accessory parts list on my concourse post for you. It has retail pricing, list pricing and p/ns of common assy found in us market. See the 13th page. Hope this helps you.

Thanks Dave, no he didn't want to tell me, asked him about it.
Don''t know what he has done. He show me a picture off it all stripped.
I've seen that post, thanks, only a few numbers match with numbers here in Europe.

Yeah I know, let the search begin I guess. Probably not easy to find ?
Last weekend a picked up some other parts. Front bumper support and brackets and some gaskets I couldn't get from the dealer, also NOS. Free 1987 calendar as well
These also came in. Refurbished OEM CRX wheels.
Also bought this from a dealer in Germany. Mine looked to be welded due to rust, and as I want to lower the CRX I don't want it to tear apart later on
Received a Genuine Mugen emblem.
Didn't buy that for fun though.
Delivery from Japan
Emblem in it's spot where it should be
Bought a genuine mugen wing. Looks rough, but thats just paint. The foam wing itself is in good condition considering it's age.
Did some more work today. Slow progress, but all the metal work is just taking a lot of time, first time doing this and don't want to just weld some metal back in.
Started with the easy stuff , new front bumper support fitted tot the bumper. Now it hangs straight right away when I hang it on
That also meant I could weld this bracket back on in the right place.
Then I fixed this part. Bought a bead roller so now it's a bit easier to make some of this stuff.
Also decided to cut out the complete sill. Not much was left of it as it turned out. Looked good from the outside.
OEM piece for reference
Used the bead roller to create this more of a OEM look
Noticed a hole and that the lower part was already rusted. So cut it out
Used the "old" piece from the quarter panel.
This pretty much took me the whole day. Did some small things but not worth mentioning. Next up is drilling holes in the quarter panel and weld that in place. And fix the floor panel
