I'm posting this to feel out the interest and acquire some data that could be used in a production run of shift knobs. Not promising anything, just want to know how many people will legitimately put their money where their mouth is to make it happen.
For the sake of this conversation, we will assume that the knobs will cost $50 shipped to the consumer.
Style/material are not important yet; if a batch is made, will you buy one or more?

For the sake of conversation, assume that is so. It has to be a supplier's market in order for this to happen- after accounting for increased material costs, inflation, incentive, and logistics $50 is in the right neighborhood.
The time when the OG's spent a ton of their blood, sweat, and tears for the community on a whim is gone- or at least the situation has changed and those guys have gotten older!
I'm gathering info here that will likely be used in the decision of future batches.

I'll definitely buy one. I tried buying one a while back, but nobody wanted to part with theirs.

Come on guys, $50 is cheap for a custom made, small batch run of alum shift knobs. [IMO]
