Talking w/ BP the other day. So the 2011 GSR will be the same weekend as last year. We've already hashed out in previous years about best time for all and July appears to be it. I posted a 2011 update about a month after 2010 in hopes I could keep the same format. Unfortunately, it got deleted some how. *** BP, is there a way to pull up old posts? I would have posted it around August of 2010, but its not on the board anymore. It would save me some time reformatting the pix/activities/text/fonts etc...***
This year will be a pool party to keep out of the heat.
More to come...
I think we had 9 cars last year and 18ish people attend. Great time..... Got several out of Staters as well!!!

You know I'm in and I'll likely have my silver hatch with me!

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

As long as it's the weekend before or after, the wife and I are down. This time we are going to stay the weekend to celebrate our 5 year anniversary.
I hope to have my current project working by then.

I got a brain fart. I don't know jack about carbs... What if I tow dolly my straman to the meet (since its early June, I might not have time to work it), I can drain the fuel and put fresh in the tank. And we have a "bring her to life party"????
don't want to pawn my work on the forum, but I haven't the slightest idea and might be a "tech project". Thoughts??

Sounds good, while I work on yours, the rest can strip down clo's car, and put in the si swap. He should have the motor back from the shop by then.

I think I need to lean on the forum for this carb stuff. What can i do to her to get her as ready as possible? Drain and refuel tank, go over brakes and then new battery. Any other odd stuff that I can preprep w/ the carb?? I have not cranked this car in 8years, so I'm pulling the plugs and oiling the cylinders before cranking....
share your thoughts.
Thnx

Bring projects all you want, with as goofing off as we do, not much is likely to get done! Just make sure you bring plenty of tools for best results.

looks like June 26 it is
I'm in and the hatch is on track for being ready.
I'm hoping for a good turn out- any suggestions on activities or things to do this time around? I'm thinking swap meet! Bring your shit and trade/sell/buy! I'll bring some crap and some money like last year
