your right there is not much of a difference between the bumper skins, but it is there. Also I no longer have the horns or steel bumper ether. Its just to hard to get factory parts and I am way to cheap when this solution works just fine for me.

function over form. my front end removes in a few seconds with a power drill and a alan/hex drive. i also lost tuns of weight over the stock pieces, but the main reason i have the "body kit" is that is was available and cheap.
The problem i had with this kit is it didnt want to fit, i was also a noob at the time. The other issue is on the drivers side rear bumper wheel arch is that they molded it straight instead of curved so even with stock tire size it rubbs and cracks the arch so you have to trim it into an arch then mold a edge back on to it or it looks hacked up. I originally purchased
mine from the valley area in LA, i belive they were made there and still being made there, i paid 400 to 500$ but that was 6 years ago. The fiber glass was so thin even with paint on it you could see light shineing through. I dont know if thats normal for fiber glass.

I love yours probably even more then the mugen fenders. I just wont spend money on aesthetics unless it is necessary.
Oh, you don't know if it's legal?
you're in california of coarse it's ILLEGAL!!!!!

Making the car 4" wider wasn't for aesthetics. I can now stick some seriously wide rubber under it which helps me on the track. It just happened to have the nice side effect of not looking too shabby!!
