EDIT*

I will be attending the autocross event on August 16th, Sunday, with speed ventures. This is an advance reminder so many of you can join me smile.gif. Its $80 for the day.

I just went yesterday with my wagon and it was a blast!

I dont think it is a lot. With Speedventures, especially on a Sunday, you tend to get at least 20 runs. I believe I got well over 25 runs. Especially toward the end of the day its pretty much all you eat.

Still waiting on Doug, Bill and Julian. wink.gif

Yes and no. Out here in the Southern California region of SCCA, you pay about $30 and you are lucky to get more than three runs for the whole day (we get hundereds of applications and the meets are limited to the first X number that get their money in) and that includes shagging cones.

But this is a private company that hosts this event. As a customer, there is no cone shagging and more runs than you can shake a stick at. These events start at 9am and generally run until 5pm or later. By 2pm I am bone tired from all the runs.

So yeah, it is a lot of money for an AutoX. But for the value, it can not be beat in this area.

I discussed it with Speedventures and they will drop the price if I can gather 5 people at least.

The registration for this event is now open and I am signing up.

All you trash talkers who have nothing nice to say about me are invited to come on down.

See you all on the 16th.
