Thanks! Yeah, I've got a small shop in my garage with all the essentials...lathe, mill, sheet metal brake, horizontal band saw, metal chop saw....

Dude, where ya been? Nice to have you back, btw...
Thanks Tom. I had to step away from the all-consuming Honda life I was leading, haha. Parenthood & the day job put a pretty good dent in it too.

TJ,
How about some more info on this front end? As in how it was done and the components used. Looks like a narrower bumper. Converted Rex or aftermarket? And how will it work. You've got to give us more to chew on, PLEASE! JS

great project,
to bad that kit is not straight fit,
I know your situation, cause I got lots of parts for other CRX (mugen copy) that needed tons of fab. to look right...
keep it going

looks awesome TJ. Arent you going to be scared to drive it after all this time/work?
I get scared leaving mine parked places and just driving it (doesnt stop me though).
I know youve got WAY more time (not sure about money) invested in your car thatn I do mine...
-Strudel: the whole front end TJ is using is from the Houseman Mugen Street kit repro.
As for how he assembled the parts together to form a 1 piece front end, I do not know.

Thanks guys, the Funkmaster is correct - Houseman Mugen repro. kit.
We just sequentially bolted each front end part on, then glassed them together once they were lined up. Then, pull it off & reinforce on the back side. I don't deserve any credit - it's all on my neighbor, Jay - fiberglass PRO.
As for driving it, hell yeah! Parking & leaving it is a different story.

I park mine and leave it... I try to keep it in view if I go to a restaurant or something.
It also goes in my garage EVERY night.
I havent had any problems yet, but im just waiting to come out and find lug covers stolen off my MR-5s or something worse.
the only good thing is that the 1st gen CRX isnt a popular Honda.

*ding*
parts are on.
I can't say enough about the fitment of everything. All gaps are perfect, all lines match up...looks like I might have a winter project after all.
