well its been over 6 months since i have had the car an not many pics of it. so i thought i would show it off a bit.
heres what it first looked like. it was nov when i got it hence the snow.

Then came the Snow tires an bodykit, roof visior, foglights.

Then spring came so i did a drive an got this shot

Now its half way trough summer so i got more shots of it.

Some might now the area. i was up in the Harrison hot springs area more closer to Hicks lake. but not. i took the service road beside the entrence to the hicks, deer, bench road. the sign said Bear creek so i figure go for it. well yeah. in short the road is for vhiecles with big tires an ground clearence. but the car made it with out a hitch. i was 4x4ing and even crossing creeks with out issues. i have a pic here of what use to be a toytoa 4runner. it was upside down an down the side there when i got there. that was almost 2 hours in an no cell phone service..
any way here are the pics.

the toyota

im going to be going camping next weekend with the 86si an i will have pics an storys for you guys on it in a diff post. in short its goign to be caring 4 people an stuff an hauling a trailer loaded with tents bikes and camping stuff. an for those that know the area im only concerend on the big hill there at the bas of the mountain to get up to the entrce of the camp gorund.

NO photoshoping on was done to the pics. lol. what i love too is the camera i use is a old digital that takes darn good pics. its a olympus 1.3 magpixel.
myself i like the side shot of the car the second last if you do a desktop size the detail comes out really good.

as for the fake si thing. there is things i dont like on the car an some i do. the things a boat for turning. it needs more then 4 lanes curb to curb to turn around. cant see over the dash to tell were the front ends short or tall person. nice thing is that i can get my 21speed mountain bike inside the car an clsoe the trunk an you cnat see the bike.
and th car is bigenough im not bing ran off the road form idiots that dont see me.

that's cool. as long as it suits you. i dunno. the looks are ok, but it's just too big for a civic. i think all the civics are just too big. they're about the size of the old late 80's early 90's accords almost! i am glad though that you're enjoying it. that's good to see. i hope you get good use out of it and maybe 20 years from now you'll look back and say "i wish i bought those mugen parts when i had the chance" just like everyone is saying now about our cars. hahahaa.

Nice pictures - I especially like the dirt road ones. Reminds me of excursions my college roommates and I would take in my '79 Civic 1200, off in the Appalachian Mountains near school. Logging trails, fire roads, etc. The car was so light that we could easily pick up an end if I got it stuck. Didn't happen too often, as the little Civic did surprisingly well on those "unimproved" roads. To help out I had installed ginormous 13" steel wheels/tires from an '80 Accord. We'd sure get some curious looks from guys in their 4x4s. Good times, good times.

Looks like fun! You need to invest into a camera though tongue.gif You can find a nice 5-6mp camera for a little over a hundred now. Take some nice pics! lol

Those pics are in Canada right? The reason i ask is because there is a Hot Springs and Harrison, Arkansas that is real close. and they are at the foot of the Ozark Mts. but those pics dont remind me of Ark.
