Hey guys.
i have two Autometer Gauges for sale. they are the C2 series or cobalt 2 series. they are 2 & 1/16in with white face with blue led back lit. they are the both electronic and have been used for about 3 to 4 weeks. they are Oil Pressure and Trans Temp. they are bright as hell. they are really nice gauges. but i wanted something a little more suddle. they both work just fine. they are back in the original package with all the instructions and fitting that came with it. all sensors are included and the gauges are in mint condition.
im asking $65 OBO + shipping for the oil pressure
$55 OBO + Shipping for the trans temp.
If you buy both at the same time ill sell them for $90+ shipping for both. That will save you about $20. thanks J

Do the gauges have separate wires for the lights?
If so, you could put a resistor in series with those wires and cut down the brightness.
These gauges use LED'S, so the light circuit current draw should not be much.
You could try a 270 ohm 1/2 watt resistor in series with both of the positive (or negative) light wires. See how that looks. Then, go higher in resistance to decrease the light or lower to increase.
Resistors are cheap.

they will only dim so much until they just completely shut off
Then this is just a thought...maybe you should try to sell them!
Good luck. They look cool but I can see were they could get annoying mounted up high on that pod.

i know i know lol i was just saying. but i bet the buyer could change the colour of the led's if that helps the sale.

thanks guys.
yeah the lights have a separte wires that needs to be hooked up. its basically just like hooking up a sport comp or phantom. there is just one positive and one negative for light. the Leds are pretty bright. but they are pretty nice though. i would asume you could change out the leds but you would have to pry the trim appart and see about the leds. so im not sure if anyone wants to take that chance to screw up the trim piece. but they are nice gauges though.
or if you think about it. you can just get some 30% window tint and just tint the lense. it will have that smk look with the dark during the day and at nite it will not be so bright. just a thought.
