im in the dallas area. id be active in the legal racing scene but its too fuckin expensive and you barely get to race. i like drag racing. last time i went i paid 20 something dollars and i got to make one fucking run. i had to deal with jr dragsters, quads, motorcycles, trucks, race cars. they dont let the street cars race as much because "they are only here for fun" id be intrested in autocrossing but i dont wanna have to take a physical to race my car. ive got plenty of empty fields and coutry roads for that, lol. plus we like to do parking lot racing around here. so its not street racing

Depending on the population of the area that you are moving to. That is why I asked "where", you can do a B-series with no problem here. They go by the vin when inspecting. Smog checks are (right now) in major metropolitan areas in texas. All the places you just listed. However some of the surrounding counties, at this time, do not.
BTW: When you move, bring rare parts.

engine swaps arent illegal in texas no matter where you are. turbocharging shouldnt be either. just as long as its tuned right. we arent like california where its illegal to do anything to your car.
wtf why would california have rare parts? if anything they have less. so many damn people. the yards i passed in oklahoma is where its at. lots of untapped resources

You'll be by me, and 84-1300 and sspcivic. KEWL. It Tarrant. And yes, there is emissions testing, but you will have no problem unless you plan on sidedraft carbs.
