Dude..had an 85 that I baught for parts. It was nice & slammed like what you want..but no papers as it got into an axcident. Anyways slamming em is awesome but doing so with stock suspension is a crappy ride. Mine my 87 self spent a lot of $ to do it right. Prices to pay anyway. But the right way is worth it for long term. You won't be sorry the right way.

is this a repost? as mentioned before... do it right, it's cheaper in the long run, than finding out you blew your struts and need to replace them repeatedly... thicker torsion bars are a must for the front... and if you want to do the cut springs i believe it was cut RSX springs will allow you to drop, and still be stiff...

I'd say bare minimum, thicker torsion bars... 24mm for street driving... and cheddaj's top hats will also assist with lowering the front...

Do it on the stock suspension and let us know how bad it messes up your suspension... i'll post up pictures of mine a little later...

Short body shock/struts are not a bad idea either, but they also cost money.
