Shock Length Comparison

Does anyon have any measurements in regards to shock overall length? I know that some are shorter than others. I know that dropping the strut down is an option for the front as is adj upper plates, but I like to ride real low, the the shorter the better in my eyes, thanks!!!

If you plan on driving this car you should not make the mistake of going too low.
And what ever you do, resist the temptation to put 16's on this car. 15's are the largest you should go. If you want low, get a set of 13's.

I have 16s on my car and I would say they are just fine. I dont bottom out, or get wheel rub but then again, I dont race either. and I dont have a stock suspension (or rear disks Scott 
)

Well so far nobody has even attempted to answer the real question. I don't really need suggestions on wheels or ride heights right now, but shock length is a concern. 4 inches of travel is enough with a stiff shock, torsions and springs. I have a truck on air that I drive 4 inches off th ground all day long, I understand the idea behind what I get with a shorter shock. I would appreciate if someone would actually try to help me with my question, thanks

I believe the only option for shorter shocks than stock is to have Koni rebuild a set of theirs for you.
The Tein suspension package in the Vendor forum comes with short bodied shocks though.

Yeah I think I'm going to drop the front strut in the knuckle and then do the camber plates, that ought to give me a little more travel at my height.

One possibility is to gut the oem strut and ket Koni inserts. There are 4 or 5 different lengths available. I talked to the Koni rep at SEMA and that was his best solution. The only other people that I could get an answer from at SEMA were the Chinese as they would make a custom application but the dialogue was lacking with interpretation and how many units you had to do.
