Please don't flame me because ima a noob on the forum and i want nos in the crx. I was wondering if its possible to run nos on a carbureted 1st gen without a carb plate spraying it into the intake arm thing like on fuel injected car. would that work without too much going into one cylinder?

um no no you can't. ever think about something called detonation?

ever thought about your electrical timing when spraying?

didn't think so... other wise your questions would be more specific and informed. go read about it. then ask us questions. cuz this is a joke. and frankly i would never put nos on my car or any car...

how much compression does this motor consist of is it open or closed deck? i believe a 50 shot should be fine without building the motor i dont really care about the engine i just want to see how long it would take before the motor goes out. flame suit on. its a drag car and im planning on dropping a k24 later on.

Timing and fuel issues aside(duh), why is the ew/d15 so unsuited for NOS? They're tough little motors...they seem to take forced induction better then just about any other Honda engine.
Come and see the violence inherent in the system! Help! Help! I'm being repressed!

maybe i still do not get it because i do not know how carbureted motors work unsure.gif but by injecting nos it changes the timing? which will detonate the motor then i wont install nos...

but im not sure if thats wut u meant all i really want to know is without changing anything a bone stock 86 carb can it handle a 50shot without the motor going?

READ ABOUT NOS

doesn't matter if it's a carb motor. you are injecting nos, which makes your motor detonate, stock. you need to some how retard your timing while spraying or you will blow your motor.

even with something like msd 6 btm, you will still blow your motor.

nos= blown motor

if you don't know how carb motors work read about it. damn... these questions are retarded. read about nos. search on honda tech. search on other forums lots of people covered this. if your going to blow your motor any way why not just swap and have power all the time, rather then just when you push the fast and the furious button.... gay in my opinion gayness to the third degree.

imho, nitrous is a cheap (not as in cost, as in ethics) tactic. if you want power, swap.
