I saw a 86-87 civic si with foglights (bosch). One of the light/housing is broken but is it worth picking up anyways?

I would say so; at least grab the brackets and switch - the honda specific parts. You can always buy new fogs.

Here is a set on ebay:

Actually I would really like to buy the brackets. If I remember right they are the same as the CRX ones. Let me know.

I put 89 Prelude fogs on both my 86 and my 89.

They bolted up to my stock bumper on the 86, and I had to weld them to the bumper on the 89. I think they look better with the proper vintage car, the 89. I did, however, do the bulldog headlight design to the fogs on the Si, to match the headlights.

Here are the pics:

I prefer to keep it all honda, very little aftermarket stuff, and these seemed like a good fit.

Cheers,
Mark

Really? I just looked at the instructions posted on the wiki and it sounds like there was only one mounting kit; and you just use different length bolts for the different models.

I'd still be interested in them anyways, please let me know.

Well went back to get them. Look like some decide to break off the housings. But I got the brackets/wiring/switch. But the wiring was cut and the very ends the stick into the housing.

Dang, I was going to ask if one of the lenses were yellow and offer a trade of my extra good housing (no cover) for a yellow lens. Then you would just need to get a couple matched lenses. oh well.

Well when I went back the other light was busted off too.

The wiring harness/switch/bracket.

The wiring end were cut. But it should easily crimp with a replacement end.

That is why I was saying Dang.

That looks to be the same wiring and switch setup that I have on my Civic right now. I have to ask: Did you hunted around in the car for the Honda logo-ed covers for the lights? I'm thinking there was a chance they may have still been in the car.
