#344459 Not Getting The Power I Should

QUOTE (nature223 @ Jul 8 2007, 12:09 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
hey when he hits 12-14,000 rpm it should smooth out a bit....try a higher shift point.............um,and earplugs......and,...er,safety glasses and ear plugs

*ducks*

hahaha that's hilarious laugh.gif

but yeah tuning will be your best friend... and biggest time consumer for a while... you can get as much fuel as you want into the motor but if it's not in the correct ratio with the air you're getting it's not going to do anything for you except hurt perf and lower your mileage.

Would these fenders fit in my CRX? oh yeah how about the header panel?

well i think there's enough room in the hatch for them to fit IN your crx... but not a chance of them fitting ON it biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif ph34r.gif

#341788 I Devaced!

Posted by Kain on 19 June 2007 - 11:04 PM in General Posts

actually the 'true jdm" carbs i've seen are very similar to our usdm carbs... like this one...

i have the same one, it's from a jdm dohc ZC (not mine in the pic but identical) and i devaced it the same as i devaced my usdm dx carb. and it ran BEAUTIFULLY i might add. switching out the carb opened up a bit more power than i expected on the engine setup i was running... HF head on a dx block biggrin.gif lol

#341418 Wtb 1g Crx- Running Or Shell

Posted by Kain on 17 June 2007 - 02:53 PM in WTB

I'm looking to buy a new crx being as i had to let my 87 dx go sad.gif

preferably an 84 or 85 due to less vacuum lines and PA emissions laws (all components must be in place and hooked up) due to the fact that im planning on putting my Si head and ZC carb onto it. Will 'settle' for an Si tho if the price is right! biggrin.gif I'm in PA but willing to travel.

#338951 Fs Zc Carb And Manifolds

Posted by Kain on 01 June 2007 - 08:32 AM in FS

Been holding onto it for a while due to the possibility of someday getting another CRX but now i need money sad.gif

it's the stock JDM carb with intake and exhaust manifolds that will bolt to a ZC or usdm D16A1.

so.... if you're interested shoot me an offer by pm or email at [email protected]

Will get pics up as soon as possible.

#278509 Si Head Swap

Posted by Kain on 01 August 2006 - 06:55 AM in Swaps

will i notice any significant power loss by using the dx cam, fuel pump, and distributor rather than switching all over to Si parts? napa quoted me $130 for an 86 prelude fuel pump which would probably be my best bet for a pump. Trying to save cash where i can here but if it'll be a significant difference i'll spend the money for a new pump smile.gif
