#200700 Question About P&p Head

Posted by G1tegZc on 25 October 2005 - 11:58 AM in General Posts

it doesn't matter if its a 86-87 head or if its an 88-89 head......

Both dizzy's will fit with all bolts.....

That last dizzy side cam cap determines the top bolt location for the coresponding dizzy.....

if you want to use a 86-87 dizzy use a 86-87 last cam cap...
if you wanna use a 88-89 dizzy use the 88-89 last cam cap....

I also saw this on the site you found it.....(don't want to give it away...)

a 3 way valve gob is irrevivant without the valves to go with it.....

as far as porting.....It looks clean...But I would want to see it in person before I jumped the gun....

I don't see how it was pressure tested with no valves/springs/retainers either?

I would never even use penzoil to lubercate my toilet seat..............

penzoil sucks.....

it leaves a waxy crap residue in your engine

#189456 Anyone Interested?

Posted by G1tegZc on 18 August 2005 - 03:19 PM in General Posts

QUOTE (scottssilversi @ Aug 18 2005, 01:44 PM)
Yes i have an 88 Integra LS in my back yard. It is just sitting there. I bought the car with the intentions of finally doing my swap. But the engine has a knocking rod as far as i know. So i can still do my brake swap. And if i want to rebuild the motor i can do my swap if i knew everything i needed to do. OR if anyone is interested i will pull the motor and harness. I am at a cross road right now and do not really know what to do.

is it a SE

with the rubber spoiler and side skirts?

#188866 Who Makes The Best "type-s" And Why?

Posted by G1tegZc on 15 August 2005 - 03:18 PM in General Posts

I dont know if its the colbalt ss or what.............

But I met a guy that was running a stock supercharged from the factory colbalt.........

Now let me say first....I hate economy domestics......Period..

However I was suprized at the performance this thing out out from the factory....They're not really slow.....pretty quick actually....

Not that I would ever buy one......But it was suprising to me...... huh.gif

#186569 Welding Rear Anti Sway Bar

Posted by G1tegZc on 03 August 2005 - 01:11 AM in Competition

doing this is very bad or your car....This puts stress on suspension parts that is not designed to have stress put on them...

I have the same suspension as you guys But I would never do that at all...............

Not even on a race only car........

You need freeplay there thats why they designed it the way it is....

#184319 Zc Vs D16a1

Posted by G1tegZc on 21 July 2005 - 07:30 PM in General Posts

The only difference between a ZC and a d16a1 is the cams........

Those guys are trying to rip you off........

ZC's should be in the range of $600-$700 dollars......

D16a1's should be in the range of about $400-$500

JDM motors arn't perfect motors....especially since they have been dained of oil, and sitting so long that most of the seals need to be replaced..

and second Off
that whole 30,000 mile thing is complete bull...

I used to work at a shop that imported engines......

There is no real way to tell.....

The fact is that gas is really expensive in japan...so most used public transportation....it is definittly possible but no physical way to truelly tell..

They don't come over with odometers......

If he's telling you he can get a ZC for cheap check it out in person first.. and make sure its a ZC and not a d16....alot of people camm d16a1's ZC's
