the head will fit after one stud is moved over about 2mm i can see this when i lay the z6 head gasket on the dx head i can also see that the 2 down dowel pins would need to be drilled to fit other then that i cant really see much more someone did say they had to match up some coolant jackets
i would like info on just mounting the head to the block and dont tell me to go get another block this is all for i told you so rights

Thank you vary much I do have a friend with a si head I was just wondering if it could be done or was a good idea or if its waste of time I know his si head needs to be rebuilt
I know to stay away from gravity carbs I got the fuel pump and carbs off the bike also my dad was a Yamaha master tech for years that's why I feel confident that we can get them tuned and work its just the CVCC I'm worried about
Is it bad if I blocked off the CVCC port
Me and a friend have carbs to a CBR he has carbs off a 98 CBR 600 and I got 87 CBR 1000 carbs this way we can play with both and see what's the better option

So I would like to make a custom intake manifold for my 87 crx DX for bike carbs but I would like to know is there a way I can make the CVCC work I was thinking of running a tube mounted at a 45 degree angle in side the runner and out to the CVCC port
So would this idea work?
If it does sound like something that would work how close to the carb should I mount the tube?

It does need help but that's why I got it I have always loved the crx and after a friend got one a year ago and iv seen some of the things he has done and parts are cheap haha I may get a replacement motor just cause we have so many in the junk yards around us there is even a 1 gen teg brown top in one yard
And yes the back hatch glass is broken out and was replaced with pexie glass so I'm just going to redo it in pexie glass but do it better its just glued on no bolts or screws

We plane to log every little thing we do from tuning to setting it all up and we have help from a former motorcycle mechanic so I feel we should be able to pull it off an get them working
We have bought cbr600f carbs an a set of cbr1000f so we will see how it varys on jetting and tuning I also would like to find someone that can make a flange for a intake manifold so we can play with runners I have a good ideal just need someone that can do the machine work

Hello my name is Alex I got a 87 CRx for $80 bucks its rough on the edges but really clean body no rust I'm guessing it came to Utah from California and we found some smog stuff on it
I got the little CRx with a blown clutch and the trans pulled out already and it was missing tires/rims but I have e30 rims (80's BMW 3 series)
Another member and my best friend has a CRx as well right now he has mine and we are going to put bike carbs on both mine is being used as a doner car so we don't have 2 CRx's taken apart
