Picked these wheels up a month or two ago on kijiji. They were ruff, but straight and no curb rash (several coats of white paint)

Found a local guy who has a small paint and polishing business. Their 14x6, threw on a set of my center caps and badges

Last year I had the opportunity to photograph my 85 CRX for a feature in Honda Tuning. With an established contact I was able to pitch an incredible story idea, one of passion and determination. The article entitled NO EXCUSES is about a good friend of mine. As before I covered the photography side while the copy was left to Jonathan Thompson who did a fabulous job.

Honda Pilots are made in Alliston Ontario, about 15 mins from where I live.

Why does it cost nearly $6,000 more to buy one here then it does to buy the same SUV in California.

My Jaw hit the ground when I got the call today.

This is kinda like getting a Pulitzer Prize for us Canadians.

The awards are being held in Ottawa at the National War Museum in May.

I'll keep you guys posted.

I'm a photojournalist (15 years) working out of the Barrie Examiner and was recently nominated for an ONA for the spot news category. The situation occurred last spring and by pure chance I stumbled across this amazing situation. The image has also been submitted for a national newspaper award. Fingers crossed. Always keep your camera by your side........... click first, think later
