Figured I would start a thread where everyone can share what they are doing. Perhaps it will give some ideas and or just get some conversations started.

So I’ll lead off with installed my 30mm torsion bars. If you get these and go to install them you will need to have the bar turned right behind the front splines in order to get the ring clip on. This applies to 30mm bars from HeelToe. Marcus is aware of this and working on some changes to before another batch is made.

I removed the valve cover. Getting ready to replace the gasket and spark plug hole seals (1987 brown top D16a1) Tomorrow put it back together and change the oil and filter.

Took the car out for a 45 min drive. Our church men’s group did a “Power Tour” through our community. Car feels so much more balanced with these new bars the 27s were way to soft, not that I really got to push it.

Good excuse to drive and get out!

It was a good way to settle the suspension too.

I also figured out the source of my bumper pushing up on my passenger side turn signal. There are two tabs on the back of the bumper right where the rub strip is. I honestly never noticed them. The one on the passenger side at some point got folded over when I put the bump on and was pushing it up just enough to cause it to hit. Heat gun and oversized flat pliers and I got it straightened back out. No more rubbing!

Next for me is a 30 year old part too, fuel pump upgrade.

Fuel pump upgrade done, that was a pain! I dont like cutting corners so probably made it more difficult than others would but will post a thread on how i did it.
