PICS HAVE BEEN RE SIZED!

Project Wagoplan Alpha ph34r.gif

OK, here we go
1987 civic wagon
project name is "Wagoplan Alpha". I still need to come up with a name for the wagon though. I guess Ill see what kind of character it has once it is back on the road.
just a little background info, My name is Garrett [like the turbo] my first honda ever was an 86 hatch then an 87 rex and now this wagon. I joined RPR about a year ago when i purchased the hatch, I have become good friends with BP and Gimpalot since then smile.gif I love these cars, they are a blast to drive and super easy to work on.

In no particular order here is a list of things i will try my best to accomplish
1. D16A1 browntop swap
2. Integra front and rear disc brakes
3. Stainless braided brake lines [goodridge]
4. 27mm torsion bars re indexed
5. GC/monkey tech coilovers for right now ill have kyb gr2 and tokico blues
6. Adj. Panhard bar [now ive also been trying to come up with a rear suspension that eliminates the panhard]
7. black, black, and moar black, NO CHROME on the outside of the vehicle whatsoever. dark tinted windows
8. all emblems shaved, rear wiper shaved, and i would like to take off the rear defrost but a razor isn't working
9. Interior, im thinking Black and some kind of plaid, like a golf Gti.
10. engine bay wire tuck, almost everything as black as possible except for the motor its self, i want it to stick out and be a showcase sortof, so some ideas and brainstorming is in order when i get around toit.
11.I plan on stripping the chassis and coating the inside on everything with rubberized undercoating, interior, including floors, roof, doors etc. undersides of fenders and fenderwells, and the under side of the body, in hopes of reducing as much noise and vibrations as possible. any rust spots will be covered with rust reformer first.
12. craftsman ship and attention to detail will be highest above everything else, trying to be on par with kakabox but we shall see. I have tons of ideas i just hope i have the time to do something with them.
13. I am not setting a goal for a finish date only for the fact that i want this to be done right the first time, I want to take my time and do everything how I want it.

I am looking to update this thread as much as possible, and always with lots of big pictures. biggrin.gif

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

First we used some "play sand" for the header panel bolts, but it needed to be filtered of some of the bigger pieces, then we went to baking soda. The sand worked best until a bigger of the rocks lodged itself in the hose. The baking soda worked OK, it was also 50 microns so I think it would have been better sutied for something with only light imperfections, as you can see it wasn't getting past the rust which is what I was looking for. We shall see how it goes after the paint dries.

Ha, ha, ha!!!!!

He can do it. 27mm torsions, reindexed. GC coils in the rear. Notch front strusts per Kaka's mod. Low profile tires. Done.

DUDE: Did you just add the Thundercat's pic to your sig as per our new WagoCats union? If so, this build is on FIRE!!!!
