Im back and at it again with civics, this time with a 3rd gen sedan. Im having issues with the carb running rich when i floor it. Becides the lack of power, an additional cloud of black smoke appears out the exhaust and a rich smell. What do you guys figure. Also i noticed that the accelerater pump has a small leak.

Is the fuel level in the carb sight glass correct? How about the choke valve- is it all the way open?
