You can leave the internal bar in when you add an external bar. I suggest a Lightspeed Racing rear bar (if you can find one). The Addco rear bar is a similar design. The Suspention Techniques bar is not as well designed.

You can also remove the swing bearing and replace it with the same bracket that goes one the drivers side. Narrows up the track a little so you can put a wider wheel/tire on and still clear the body. Last race I ran I did not have a swaybar on the car either and it handled quite nicely. Very stable car.

this also locks the trailing arms to the axle, making the whole system a sway bar, correct? that is how I run my car, but I just welded the bearing and cut out the torsion bar.

You are correct Tony, reason I went this rout is because my plan is to put Integra rear brakes on the car for next season as well as a few other items and make it a H2 car.

Wait a minute....You don't need to weld? You just need to replace the passengers side bracket with the drivers side?

Aparently you can use a 2nd drivers side bracket and fit it to the passanger side.

just remove the swing bearing and bolt the same brake bracket to the axle tube. thats what I did until I thought, "what if it rains at a track day"? it has the potential to have lots of oversteer at speed in the wet. I have a welded plate that I can swap in if I choose to, but I'm not locked into using something if the conditions change. it does feel nice in the dry with the rear being solid.

Oh. Right on. I guess that would work.

Hey, how's the weather down there? I'm a bit north of you, but I'm sure you got it worse than we did.

well, if you'd raise your car to an acceptable height!!! hahahaa j/k.

i am running the addco setup on my car and it handles nice even with the stock internal bar and swing-arm crap in place.

as for where you can purchase, google it. like www.swaybars.com i think sells 'em.
