Found This D16a1 Swap Interesting

Look like they used the 88-91 transmission on the D16a1, kinda like how 1st genners use the LS trans on the 88-00 blocks to put them in. Looks like this would be simplier to do though to the fact that the drivers side mount doesnt have to be modded to fit.

well i have a 1985 hachtback with an EW1 1.5 carbed engine, and i wanted to know if a D16A1 has the same engine mount pattern so that i coul just take out my old EW and install the D16A1, does somebody knows a little bit about this particualr swap???
