Its pretty interesting all the personality types that call RPR family, I know some of you work on cars for a living, thought it would be interesting to see what everyone does for a living.

I currently work in a supply warehouse for the US govt(navy mainly)
but my passion is woodworking(in most all forms, done everything from rough construction to high end furniture building)

Drone in Sector 7G.

I am not too far off. I watch the computer that runs the automation that keeps a TV station on the air. I am paid for my ability to fix probelms before they occur.

Challenging? Not hardly. I watch TV for eight hours a day. And get well paid for it. The irony was that as a kid I used to wish for a job like this. Be careful what you wish for.

    • Drives: 1987 CRX DX. Upgrades (so far) Illuminas on all four corners, new rims & tires & Eldo's carb mod. Needs some rust repair. 1993 Civic Si as a daily driver that I have sworn to keep stock (so $$ can go to the CRX).
Currently: Tech support for a mobile phone company.

When I "grow up": I want to be a pilot - pretty much doing anything but the goal is airline pilot.
Right now that dream is sort-of on hold due to money concerns.

right now im a motorcycle mechanic. i work for my dad at our shop Jebco (japanese engine building company). ive been doin it for years. as for future plans, im in school right now getting my deploma in metal joining technology aka welding. Id liek to be a pro skateboarder but i highly doubt that so im stickin with school.

But anyways as for the welding thing id like to have a welding job for a while, its good money but hard work. I enjoy running a bead and like the challange of it. I enjoy fabrication most, and id eventually like to use my welding experiance and mechaincal experiance to take on whatever comes my way. Id be happiest building rollcauges or car/motorcycle frames or even work as a custom motorcycle/car builder.

I worked in a cemetary for awhile (about 2 years for the money), moved on to rental stores for awhile(rental counter, truck driver) became an eletrician for about ten years, went to the police academy for 8 months and went to working for a local sheriff's office now.

My employment now and the electrician gig was the most fun.I have to say i'll stay where i'm at.

I am currently at Tafe Studying IT Tech Support,
I was doing an apprentceship in Panel Beating / spraypainting
It didnt last very long, but i learnt how to prep jobs before the spraying occurs and just some general things, i got to move some hot cars, Holden V8 SS commodore, some high class mercedes and a Lexus, they are no 3G honda civic, but yeah hehehe it was an experience!!! heheh, yeah i play in a band on the side to make some money for doing something i love...

i can make roughly $150 for a 30 minute set, which is pretty awesome, i mean how great would it be to make that in an 8 hour a day job. cool.gif

Sorry for the "essay" haha, tongue.gif but you wanted to know what i do..
ofcourse there is more to the story - but i think ive bored you guys enough..

Peace. biggrin.gif

my job is sweet though, i just bought a 2000 acura integra se with 140kms for 2400 bucks and got a front clip and air bags for $1200 and will be driving the car for less than 4500. so theres perks to the job.

Currently I am the IT Manager at Ezell Aviation. We are on of the premire warbird restoration buisness in the world. I also manage the website - ezellaviation.com - Check out of new project "Red Bull P-38". It is the second plane we have done for Red Bull (yes the drink) and this one is going to be amazing.

I am currently trying to figure out what I want to do for the rest of my life. I can either do automotive tech training or something with computers. No matter what I will eventually own my own large buisness. smile.gif
