well lets see, i heard of people cutting out their spair wheel well and just tacking in a piece of sheet metal, thats one thing you could do.
you can also remove your current fuel tank and go with a fuel cell, or just a smaller tank.
plexiglass....
the doors are extremely heavy you could cut some of the support out of the inside of it, i swear those doors weigh 100+ lbs... the hatch also weighs over 100lbs so whatever you can cut from that will help, if it loses regidity you could just get a bar run it across weld it on both ends.
ill come up with more later, i just recently chopped my HF into little pieces i can go back through some of it and tell you what u can lose

Those are possibly the ugliest rims I have ever seen in my life. Please do the world a favour and break them.

I was about to say make youself an intake with a chunk of hose and a crappy filter, but then remembered its carbed isnt it... can you flip the aircleaner lid over on those and have it still seal? I used to on my old 83 toyota corolla, and it gave it sweet sound....
Too bad you didnt have a little more in the budget... for like $300 you can get a teg and swap in everything and it'll run prob mid-low 15's then. My civic is around mid-15's with D16A1, and is a few hundred lbs heavier (1850 last time i checked)

he is going to be sliding around in the dirt guys. if he doesnt have it properly filtered, it will suck in a lot of dirt and kill the motor pronto.

today I installed my si tranny and clutch and a few other things.
Here are some pics but by the time I was done I was to dirty to touch my cammy so there arent many pics:
HF and SI tranny>
the Hf fly wheel is a lot thiner than the SI one>
I swear this is the clutch how it came out of the HF, I knew it was bad but OMG>
HF clutch upper/ si Clutch lower.
And ofcourse one of these it went against budget but I cant let my thrasher be destroyed by dirty oil.
