The felpro gasket  only works with stock bore. You need the d16a1, as mentioned above, to fit overbore. Best to check the head and block with a machinists  straight edge. Some other brands will work with overbore , but are hard to clean, and have a shorter life, Dave

My rear mount has failed more than once. High RPM causes the two top bolts to fall out, and this breaks the tranny case, and when the mount is finished the throttle sticks wide open and the tranny shifter also fails. Now I safety wire the two top bolts together. The bolts are easy enough to drill, and loctite dosen't work. I have a blown motor to fix right now, and yeah, this car kicks ass in the turns, but gets it's ass kick on the straights, Dave

The alignment tool doesn't work , as there is no pilot bearing in flywheel. Best to pull the driver side axle to put the transmission in with engine in. It is easier to connect the trans to engine when it is out of the car, Dave

Old tires are about 2 seconds slower than new ones, and if you don't keep your driving sharp, about one second there. Then theres about 1000 things that will make you go faster, suspension, alignment , engine, reduce weight, areo, etc. Nobody said car racing was cheap, I knocked out my automatic transmission in my stock 05 camry last weekend running 2 rallyxs and one autocross. A first and a third rallyxing, and emberrested most of the drivers at the autox, but about a 3500.00 set back, Dave
