Hi there guys, greetings from the UK!

Among a few cars i've owned a 93 civic, 96 civic, 91 civic and now I have freshly acquired an 84 Civic "Alf" :)

A close friend of mine originally bought it, he's more of a 4G fan however and doesn't really have the time to keep on top of Alf so we struck a deal where I swapped my 91 EC9 for his 84 AG :)

It's a 1.3 Hondamatic, amongst the deal I have a manual swap which i'm unsure wether i'll use yet, this is going to be my chilled out cruiser, I also have a 92 Mazda MX5 which is my toy! So the plan with Alf is to just keep it clean and simple, a little hit with the lowering stick and some nice wheels will be the starting point then see what happens from there! It's got GT clocks fitted (so I have race rev gauge y0!) and we've transferred the original odo gauage from the original clocks which read 51K :) I'll be the third registered owner! :) Only had it a couple days so far and love it! Gave it a quick wash today!

Also done a much needed brake pad change lol!

I've potentially got some new wheels lined up but shall wait and see how it goes! Hope you like!

Looks like a good base youve found there. I remember seeing your Mazda at Japfest 2 this year.

Picked up the new wheels the weekend and gave them a test fit this evening! The tyres are way too small lol! I reckon slightly chunkier tyres with a bit of lowering should get Alf sitting pretty sweet! I'm not going for any internet winning stance y0! Looks, just something that looks pretty cool but still keeps my cruising practical :)

They'll be getting a quick spray in silver for a meet the weekend :) (That's my old EF hiding in the background of the last pic :) )

That's a lovely looking car, I wish mine was in that condition!

Those wheels have great potential. Tyres and a good wallop with the lowering stick and she'll sit nicely. What kind of size and offset are they? I'm used to modern Hondas and I'm getting indecently excited about running low offset...

Thanks bud! Yer I need to get my steel wheels back on so I can get to work on the RSL's over winter! They're 13x8 et20 they're currently on 185/50/13's I think my plan will be to run 165/65/13's I have given them a quick blast with silver paint since my last update as I had them on for a show

Thanks guys! Oh yer one other small update I forgot to mention! I managed to find a full set of genuine  blue interior mats which are now in!

DSC_0022_zps3j1rahyp.jpg

Originally they were advertised as Shuttle Mats which if they are different then it's not by much as these fit in the hatch nigh on perfect! :) Spotted them randomly trawling through ebay and I knew I couldn't miss out on them! It's not like they come up everyday, especially beings they're in fantastic condition! I made (A bit cheeky really) an offer and fortunately for me the seller accepted :)

The steels will be going back on soon for winter and hopefully we'll see the RSL's refreshed come next spring! ^_^

Back on the original steels now ready for the winter to set in heres the last pic of it on the RSL's

DSC_0002_zpsr2cvvd0f.jpg

They should be back next year on bigger tyres and all cleaned up with polished dishes and silver or anthracite faces :)

Also I just realised I hadn't show an underbonnet pic of Alf.

DSC_0003_zpsyfowwyy5.jpg

Still needs more cleaning but slowly working through it :) I'd like to try tuck a few bits n bobs too :) Also does anybody know the size of the fuel lines under the bonnet? As i'd like to run some fresh stainless steel braided hoses B)

Also swapped out the OEM and random Pioneer speakers for a set of nice Vibe Slick4 10cm speakers, i'm not a massive ICE person so these do a fantastic job of sounding great without having to hack any of the interior apart :)

Wow, those mats were an amazing find! If your ebay kick up 'similar items' let me know!

I went the opposite direction, I removed the vibes (and sold them for £4!), then fitted random Pioneers that had been in my bits box for 9 years.

I may well bring this car to JAE next summer (because it will make my EP3 look better when sat next to it), it would be great to get these two together.
