Hey, did anyone have to cut the support under the hood to clear the cam gear area? Apparently I have heard that the d16a1 wont fit w/ a stock crx hood.

Also I bought a 90-93 integra intake and apparently that does not clear the distributor, anyone have any ideas? I say apparently because the engine install is being done by another member of this forum. I need help please!

I had to make a small notch in my CF hood support. The bolt head that holds the cover on is all that hit. On the metal hood a small dent is all you need for clearence.

No hood clearance problems here either.

When I had a stock hood on my car one of the bolts for the upper timing cover rubbed a tiny spot of paint off the hood sub structure, but a few whacks of a hammer took care of that problem. If I weren't so anal I would have just left it alone.

Got any pics of the fitment issues with your 90-93 Integra CAI?

I hit the underside of my hood with a big fuckin hammer. It clears fine now.
