and i'm startin to think twice on the copper headgasket. i can't run the stock ew gasket cuz i'm punched out to fit the 75mm vitaras....so the stock d16a1 headgasket would be the option, or cometic mls, or copper? just wanna make sure im not gonna have any leaks or anything.....thats my main concern with the copper headgasket cuz u have to run sealant around the water passages and i wouldn't be using an o-ring. help guys?

Dont use a copper head gasket. I had two SCE copper gaskets that wouldnt seal and my head was o-ringed. I called the engineering dept. they said they must not have been aneeled correctly and they would make sure to make me new gaskets that were right. Well those wouldnt seal either. Ive used a Fellpro without any problem and now I use a Cometic. I used the fellpro with 180 whp and it worked fine. Its all in the tunning.

I'm using a cometic MLS gasket and arp head studs on my d16a1...its seen some 10psi pulls, and so far so good. However, the motor is still fairly new, so we shall see how it continues with this abuse
