This car I got out of a field in south Florida. It looked fairly rust free so I paid the $100 and hauled it home. I've been working on it for 2 years.

gettin to work on the silver Rex, Dan??
i am quite busy, once i get my 3g completed ill drive over and show you the end result, another member is making me a CDM intake adapter plate and i have an Si head, so its gonna be a bit better than stock but still carb'd.
if u lived closer id come by more often, but the drive across orlando is a PITA, not the length of the drive, the idiots along the way irritate me.....

First purchase was a good sunroof assy. Both panel and pan was rusty beyond repair
After getting the good assy it was time to take it all apart for a good cleaning and new grease.
It was full of dead ants
Then installed

No pics but in the middle of this I picked up an 86 si for $50 because it had good bumpers on it. The back bumper and brackets on the silver car were from a dx and that would not due. The hatch and spoiler were both bad so I picked up a spoiler of the Nashville craigslist and used the hatch of my blue dx(RIP)

Now for the inside to get a facelift. The PO had painted the back plastic but it was all peeling off. The carpet was in bad shape also. I found an si in a p&p nearby that had great carpet and rear plastics. After getting home I found that if I put tape on the painted original plastics that the paint would come right off.So I strippind the paint and repainted with Krylon fusion. Then time to put it all back together.

Time to start on the outside plastic parts. The car had no sideskirts but after locating a pair in Indiana and having them shipped to me I found that the driverside had a missing parton the front. My bestiss buddy Marcus(vicious) provided my with one that had the part I needed. Time to put the 2 together.
