I know someone that is selling 1st generation parts. I hear this stuff is difficult to find. Also, what years crx does this stuff fit? I have a 1987 Honda civic CRx. They have a set of rear speaker brackets and covers in mint condition. Also, a set of 4 OEM "Honda" embossed mud flaps in excellent shape. Also, a rear spoiler in mint condition. Last but not least, Rear Hatchback window alloy light weight Louvers made by "CRAIGER" in mint shape. What is this stuff worth? I"m thinking about buying the stuff. If I dont buy it, I will give ya all the heads up. Also, my bud sent me a picture of this garnish and said that it is nice. Rare as well. How much it worth? http://s818.photobuc...=crxgarnish.jpg Thank you.

parts are worth what people will pay for them, bought my reflective panel for 20 from the junkyard. 200 is maybe an ebay price. if he is your friend he should let you get away for a little more than he paid for them. if hes expecting to get what these items have gone for in the past you may be looking at over 500 dollars... which is more than i paid for my first CRX.

I guess it's all what the market will bear. Since most Mugen and accessory parts are difficult to get, the prices are high. I love the crx how it came off the production line. I guess I'm lucky -- I don't want those parts and I'm not adding to the demand to drive those prices up.
Funny, a member here bought a cherry straman w low miles a while back. For the past 2-3 years, most stramans were listing for a similar price, but were a third the car. I don't think any of them sold. People are always testing the market.
One test I always do is to look up the original price. I got a 1987 era copy of the accessories pricing years ago. and I recall the mudflaps listing for 12 bucks per set of 2 and retailing for 18ish. So retailed for 36 for the entire car new back in the day. If you can find a set at a junkyard, I'm sure they'd go between. 10-20 bucks, or maybe 5.
Try searching the for sale section and see what they've gone for in the past.
I have no opinion on the louvers. But speaker brackets are easier to come by and should be pretty cheap. A very kind Canadian member gave me a set in very good condition. Someday, I hope to return the favor. Just be patient and opportunities will follow.

Also to fetch top dollar on parts like that you need to be a reputable sales person in the parts scene. What you try and sell it for and what I sell it for are two huge differences in price as well. I get the "whats it worth?" questions all the time.
