that wing/louver combo is what i have for my rex. they stand out a bit much on non black cars, but since yours is THEN GO FOR IT!!

I agree with Kamo, they are kinda too much for anything other than black CRX's. I'm not a huge fan either way, but the retro look is cool. Plus if your car IS black, it probably would look pretty cool!

I would go for it. I'd rock a set if I had access to one.
THEN: soon after that : next in order of time, position, narration, or enumeration <walked to the door, then turned><first came the clowns, and then came the elephants>

THAN: used as a function word to indicate difference of kind, manner, or identity ; used especially with some adjectives and adverbs that express diversity <anywhere else than at home><older than I am> <easier said than done>

I'll throw out my 2 cents...

My feeling is that if you have an Si model than the louvers look a bit out of place. I think that the Si's were Honda's attempt to make the CRX model look a bit more sleek/simple and have more of a futuristic look.

However, if you have the HF/DX models, the louvers look great! They give the car the retro, quirky, kind of look, but in a cool way!

I'm with Kaymo, I think the HF plastic wing is still the best looking wing in the OEM CRX arsenal. Not only does it look great, but the plastic is much more archival than the foam wings. My once nice Si foam wing has developed two bubbles this winter. Urggggg!!!!

HF wing plus the louvers on a non-Si CRX is a hit for me, on any color combo. Just suits the car...

Thats my plan is to use the DX/HF spoiler and the DX louvers. I think its a good combonation.

They make redo kits for the defroster.

Back in the day it only took a minute or two to
have the ice melted.

That's easy enough, I didn't know that louvers were hinged.

I like em ! .. just got a used set on ebay.

It came with the top hinges , but no pin mounts for the bottom clips .. any ideas where i can purchase those ?

Gonna find a way to mount these ,even if have to use Velcro .

Question- What about frost in the winter? Does it still form under the louvers at night?

No, neither frost nor dew will form on a window under louvers.

Same effect as parking your car under a car port or covering your window with card board.
The moisture settles on the top layer (Car port/card board/louvers) and doesn't make it to the window.

If louvers were legal on the windshield I might consider it tongue.gif (I hate scraping the windshield, because I'm usually cold, sleepy, and running late)
