I just picked up a set of bike carbs. Still waiting to get them. If you have any tips to help me get started that be awesome. I've already looked up a lot of different forums and have a pretty good idea of what I'm going to do. Just looking for a few little tips it might help me along the way.
Keep in mind these are going on an 85 cvcc head.
Things i have:
whole 86 crx to test fit and rough tune them on, courtesy of my fellow crx junkie A.M.
Intake manifold
Low pressure fuel pump

89 B16 Vtech Head B18 B1 Lower End

Been sitting on a ls vtech for a while now. Taken apart to lap the valves. Virgin Lower end with the vtech dowel conversion, good bearings, could use rings and a hone. Only thing left is to run the oil line to the vtech. Oil pan is drilled for return, needs fittings though.
Head is has 89 marked on it. B18 Type R short intake manifold. Dual valve springs on intake and exhaust(unsure on what year they are from but I have a set of dual springs off a 96 b16). Just cleaned and lapped the valves. They all felt nice and tight in the guides.
Long block.......$400
Head, intake, fuel rail, throttle body, and extra valve springs.....$350
Let me know what you think. Was going to be a sweet build. Just ran out of funds. Willing to part some pieces out, pm me or reply and I'll figure out how to get pictures. Thanks for looking.
Also I'm located in the salt lake city area.
