so I stripped the parts car today at the yard... hehehe ph34r.gif this is all that's left.

these are some of the parts I got for myself...
all the lower HF pannels with the red line(front and rear bumper cover, lower door pannels, front fenders, lower door seal vallence cover), an almost new 1/2 size radiator, perfect.... I mean perfect tail lights and as good as it gets center pannel.

a great hatch with perfect glass, a perfect hood with no dammage just bad paint and all the stickers on the underside still there, a set of vented aluminum drums, laugh.gif (I'm reeeeally excited about those) and just some other random little things like bolts and trim pieces.

I'm soooo happy about the body pannels. I've got the big thick black lines around the car, I want to paint these pannels white and leave the red line. I also got a headder pannel, but it's in pretty rough shape. I think I'll just repair either mine or this new one before prepping her for paint.

I can get you the door if you really want it. Shipping would be terrible I'm afraid. But I'll check how much it would be if you really want. They are super cheap about parts, but doors with good glass they tend to ask a premium for. I'd say around 80-100 dollars at least. However, I needed the lower pannel with the red strip, sorry unsure.gif .... The switch combo you asked about has no paint left on the stalks and it is sticky. However, if you want it... let me know. I'm going back today for a tranny. Oh, which door? I'll get you a price from the yard. and the steering wheel is good if you want it. he wants 30.00 for it, but I think I can get it for 20.00 wink.gif

haha, okay okay; PM sent... but after an hour of searching in the mud, I found the other one near the entrance where they carry the cars in to dump them in the mud. So, if I can get them both turned and cleaned up; I'm afraid I may have to keep them. dry.gif However, if you know someone with a good disk swap parts set, you can have them.

Very nice! I look forward to the progress on this project. Making me want to get out there this afternoon and finish sanding mine down for paint.

eh I guess my steering wheel can do for a while.. I was trying to get the driver door, I don't care too much about the plastic part since I have one... no red strip though- is it an 84/5 or 86/7 style car? I really just want one with a good functional window and original silver paint same with the hatch since mine have diff colors dry.gif

Okay, I'm not even going to get those freakin doors I don't think.... I wen't back today and asked him how much. He acted like they were really something and worth their weight in gold. He wanted 250.00....... per door. Whatever dude. I'll be back in a few months and when they are still there, I'll ask them again. But if YOU want to pay like 300.00 bucks for a door just tell me and I'd be happy to go get them for you.

I did however get a steal of a deal on a tranny at a yard just down the street in a TOTALLY wrecked Si. How about 10.00 for it, and it only has 150k on it. I'll really only know how good of a deal it was once it's in the car. I think I got such a good deal cause the guy didn't think I could get it out of the car.

How do you like me now??!!!! hahaha laugh.gif
It was kind of sad to work on sucha wasted car. It was in a roll over, the roof was totally crushed. I only managed to get the tranny and a center rear view mirror that's not broken like mine. Pretty much everything else was no good in some way.

Dang.... I didn't even notice it till you said something to be honest. I'd have to make a drive to go check, but if you know someone who wants it, I'd be willing to go check at least. I just don't personally want/need it.

Turned out excelent! wink.gif just can't wait to pick back up on the project; but it'll have to wait. Had to get my girl to open the freakin' tube for me! I feel so helpless...... mad.gif
