I don't care what anybody says, the black '85Si is the awesomest, coolest, bestest, grandest CRX of all. Looking forward to seeing you and the rex next Saturday.

The original brown paint was pretty rough, it had a layer of clearcoat on it when I bought it, so stripping it and repainting it made it 10x better looking. I think the red looks better in a black engine bay than a bland brown. Besides, it's very deceiving I guess. The guys at Sears, when I had my battery installed, thought it was a B18. Right now it's a Type R ZC. Yeah. That's it. Any more JDM goodies for me? I'll give you credit in my build Thanks area. (Me-pandering for JDM parts wink.gif )

I'd love a rear seat, along with the cut floor pan since ours is different. But......,, shipping would kill me. What else CR-X JDM stuff is there I don't have? I have a US model, cloning a Ballade Sport. I would like 1st gen black with red insert CR-X seat covers in great shape. What else do you have down there?

Some pics Big Orange took of my car in motion at the North East 08' meet/cruise. Great shots, and I wanted to post them. He did some good photomography.

That is a nice colour combination its definately my favourite,

As far as making it a Ballade Sports goes there is some things you require that i can think of, JDM Si badge, Ballade Sports Badge,
Rear Seats (i have a spare floor pan biggrin.gif) and Popup light Header Panel (spare also:D)

Oh and the "HONDA" valve cover. lol

Some factory DOHC Programed Fuel Injection stickers on the lower door panels would have to be the finishing touch i think.

I have the factory DOHC PGM-Fi stickers, just in silver when I specifically ordered white.
I'd probably like a pop up headlight panel, but I have yet to see any in super great condition.
I have a JDM Si badge ( I think I got it from you right?), and a Ballade Sport emblem. Just waiting till repaint before they go on. Then I'll replace the red stripes on the grey panels with black.

I had a HONDA JDM valve cover but was damaged.

The rear seat with floor pan would be my number one want, but shipping would be mega $$ and the economy sucks right now. I am piecing it together one at a time.

I also have some phone dials I'd like to polish and trim with black to make look JDM.

New update;
Just bought these from Flashmatrix to make it more of a Ballade Sport.

Also got these new headlights. They look like stock sealed beams, but take H4 bulbs.

And..... I have a graphics shop replicating my DOHC Programmed Fuel Injection stickers in white. I ordered them from Honda/Acura telling them I needed white ones, after getting the color code info from someone off g1teg.org, but got the grey ones which won't work on the grey lower half of my car.

The polished phone-dials are gorgeous. I love the MR-5's, but for this build, nice move going back to the OEM's.

I too bought the same brand of sealed beam H4 conversion lights for my old Jeep XJ. They are great units, and A LOT cheaper than the Hella units. Nice pick ups!
