Well....I spent a couple hours editing, and this is what I came up with, all printed and ready to cut:

BTW, the download image is huge, but when you print them, they are the correct size, if you print them at 100% scale. I think I still have the CRX cluster somewhere. And a 1G teg ones as well. Hmmmm....

Dunno about fitting the CRX. Actually, they definitely won't, because the indicator lights are in the middle. I printed it on high quality/high gloss photo paper, and I covered the front with an adhesive plastic sheet. The cutting is going to be the hardest part, specifically the round holes.

Tom, all you need is to get together with the guy who does
the RPR stickers.  A plotter will cut those out really nicely.

I'm going to see if I can modify these into a CRX cluster using
Illustrator...a little trace action.  Prolly won't get to it until
next week-work will be a little hectic tomorrow. ???

Hey, that's an excellent idea about the vinyl cutter. I'll have to look at that. If it works, would anyone want a set? I could eventually do one in MPH as well, I think.

That is really kewl! Can you do one with different lettering? Like for the gas you could have "Full" "Low" and "Oh shit" levels on it.

On the temp gauge you could put "Arctic" and "Canada" and "Florida" and "hell" levels! (Why won't this program let me capitlize "hell?")

On the tach I think that "Idle," "Mosey," "Giddiyup," and "WooHoo!"would be appropriate.
(Of course you could have a version for people with turbo's that just had a long whhhooosshhhhh from about 4K up...)

On the spedometer you could put little reminders. "No fun" "Some fun" "Way fun" "Extreme fun" and "Goodbye licence!"

OR you could put people's names on it... OR...

it won't let you capitalize 'hell' because there is a 'bad word filter' on the board, which I don't use, but it has to have at least ONE word in it, so I put 'hell=hell' in. It will replace every instance of 'hell' with 'hell'. I'm assuming that's the problem. I guess I could put jibberish in, it wouldn't know the difference.

I got the white dials jpg from Pasi, who has a web page here:

http://www.geocities.com/coptuning/

He originally sent me a Corel Draw file containing the dials, but I misplaced it in one of the many Windoze-induced crashes over the years.  I had saved a full size jpg somewhere at that time, which I uploaded so as not to lose it.

I tried contacting him to get another copy of the Corel file, but I don't think he had it anymore either.  Both of us have moved on from our 3G Civics.

With decent drawing/drafting programs, it shouldn't be difficult to re-draw a set of gauge-only dials in your particular shade of white or electric fuschia.

Pasi printed his dials onto cardstock and then glued them (I believe?) to the cluster.

Happy hunting!
