This car is very real. No one on this forum has ever built an EW as fast as this one. It's a real testament to Sawchuck and his skill set.

Sharing with others what I do for myself!

because it has been at least two weeks since his last post on how awesome his car is without any new info... it is pretty cool

I still want to know what it'll do in the 1/4 ph34r.gif

Taking an engine from 93 hp to 225, and with durability, says it all.

Awesome work.

Saw this vid a few years ago. Didn't realize it was Sawchucks. Killer car. Mustang devouring machine, methinks...

Corvette Killer.

I drove it, and when it's running on full boost I think it pushes you in the back harder than my friend's 2004 Corvette Z-06.

Honestly, if, and it's a big IF, he could get traction all the way down the track, he could easily run 11s. Seriously.
The problem is that you can break the front wheels loose in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. (Maybe 4th too, I didn't go that fast).
It's like hit boost, break tires loose, shift, hit boost, break tires loose, shift, hit boost, break tires loose, 'Damn we're really going 100?'..........
It is totally insane.

Like I said before, that is the first time I ever got out of a G1 CRX or G3 Civic and thought "My car is a dog".

You're Mad!

Well thank God for that, 'cause if I wasn't, this would probably have never worked.

I would highly doubt 11's. Very few fwd's get into that territory. I'm sure with that amount of power 12.40-12.80's would be possible with 11x.xx trap speeds. It would take at least 300 whp IMO.

you say very few hit that territory but you must live in the boonies or something cause I've seen a butt load of civics hit 11s. That isnt that hard to do. Hitting 9s and lower on the other hand is a completely different ball game. I know in Las Vegas I've seen more then a few civics hit 11s no problem.

you have to consider power to weight ratio as well. That CRX weighs next to nothing compared to a newer civic and it doesnt take very much power to get the power to weight ratio to be insane.

I just used the calculator and you are correct. Assuming total weight at 2100lbs with driver, it theoretically only takes 210 whp to get into the 11's.
