I really really want a set, but I have twin girls on the way so money is tight. Let me do some thinking/planning because this may be my last chance...

Ill be buyer number 10; I like the 10 price ("If we can get 10, we can make more and I can drop the price 5% ($1215).")... ph34r.gif

Lol, we need a buyer #2 first.

Well I am definitely in, I want a set!

So who else is DEFINITELY in?

QUOTE (anjin @ Dec 20 2010, 11:34 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Doing the rears makes sense - it is a lot more prone to react to bumps than the front

Ok I'm in. I'll probably do 50:50.

Have to get a fourth gen 1 to fit all the aftermarket suspension pieces in now. Lucky I can register them as vintage and get reductions in license etc costs!

i can do $350 bucks a month starting new years, and when income tax comes i can probably have these paid off... they won't be installed on the car for another year though... how long can i keep them stored?

I came very close to buying these last run, but wasn't able to come up with enough money.

I will forever want this kit, and hopefully one day I will have it, too.

Maybe I can get on the tail end of this group buy, time to start saving!

QUOTE (87ClubRed @ Jan 5 2011, 04:28 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I *may* be interested in getting in on this.

My project stalled for 3 years blink.gif and I'm now deciding what to do with it.... suspension is the only thing left to aquire....

QUOTE (Z3RO @ Jan 5 2011, 06:12 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
are these adjustable or like the Tein Basics? i might be interested in these as my current dampeners are gone.

COMMON'! biggrin.gif

MrDisibility, do you want payment now or should I wait? I have the money its not a issue for me at this point, I have it set aside.

One thing know from experience is, when the count is low, getting buyers is hard. When the count climbs, the buyers come in.

So to get the list going, all I really need NOW is some orders. Let's do it this way.

Order on Heeltoeauto.com. Go through the check out process online, and when you get the payment page, choose to pay using "phone payment." this will create an order for you, and when we contact you for payment we get it in increments. Everyone wants to pay different amounts I am sure and that is fine. I'll just get whatever you can afford to give. When we have initial or full payments from those who are IN, then we'll re-evaluate the situation and let the forum know who all we have and what we need from that point on.

Marcus - had to create a new account as I forgot my old one's details and I couldn't do enough to re-establish it.

coupla questions :

Would a set of these green guys be absolute overkill for my daily driver ?

is there a drop ? or does the car retain its natural height ?

if there is a drop , is it enough to mandate an adjustable panhard bar ?

What's the expected life of the product in miles ?

do they come in hot pink ? ...( ok, just kidding)

I'm thinking this is the year to start reworking the suspension , i just don't want too many surprises.

Now that is committment.

We had twins - aiming for a third and got two - and its definitely an experience.
I'm trying to remember the expense side - wasn't twice the expense once you got past the double stroller, a car able to take 6, and shifting house as we needed more than 2 bedrooms!!!!! Amazing what you can get given from friends and acquaintances. Never say no!
The real killer was time - after a while the twins work out they can get more attention by sleeping in shifts. Be prepared for your partner having severe sleep deprivation for about three years. Not to be missed however. Oh - after a while our pair started saying they were not a twin. Treat them as individuals and not as twins.
