anjin, are you sure you even need 31mm torsions? that's a helluva lot on this little car imo.

I can't promise you won't need revalving, but that wuld only be for the front. What rear springs would you use?

It's B18 engined, half caged, and used on a highish speed and smooth track. The set-up seems to be working so far. Nice and flat through corners, and not too much front body dive into corners. 650 lb linear rate rears.

I am expecting revalving would be needed, but not having to do the back would be a bonus.

i can do $350 bucks a month starting new years, and when income tax comes i can probably have these paid off... they won't be installed on the car for another year though... how long can i keep them stored?

That would be perfect. I think I only need like 2-3 people top get a run done in all honesty....

How long will they keep? Haha, they aren't like milk wink.gif They won't expire.

The front you can probably get away with not revalving, but the rear you'll need to. If the front ends up feeling a little floaty in hard fast corners with light bumps then you'll need revalving.

Doing the rears makes sense - it is a lot more prone to react to bumps than the front

Ok I'm in. I'll probably do 50:50.

Have to get a fourth gen 1 to fit all the aftermarket suspension pieces in now. Lucky I can register them as vintage and get reductions in license etc costs!

life happened. tongue.gif i still have the sedan and all the parts ive collected to do the b18 swap. had to move away to start my career. paying off school loans (30 freakin thousand). blah blah blah. so im hoping to move back this coming january to finish working on the car.

back on topic though, to service the dampers, do they have to be sent overseas or does tein have a facility here in the u.s. to service them?

I'd say about a 7kg rear spring is the max limit.

Tein generaly charges between $100 - $150 per unit and in most cases is performed here in California at their US based office.

Link (Tein's U.S. Office) :

^ please excuse the beard. laugh.gif the production company I was producing segments for staged a "how to" snow boarding
promo video during this time as well. I was shooting for that out doorsy lumber jack look. tongue.gif

FYI, Tein is located on the same street as us. tongue.gif
On occassion, we would test fit US spec Honda application for them when called upon.
We shared a great relationship with them at one point and have since moved on to higher demanding systems
for more agressive applications. (Zeal, JIC,etc.) However, we still utilize Flex kits on our street rides with no complaints. wink.gif

OMG! I just bumped Marcus's thread.! LOL!! it's all good.
...at the end of the day we all share the same passion for these Hondas.

We'll ship over there no problem. For service you'll probably be looking here:
