Hey can any one hlep me here?

I have a 91 Civci dx, b16a engine swap. Its been running good for at least 3 years with the swap, I drive it everywhere all the time.

Anyway a few months ago it would start  then die, then start and run fine...

This has been getting worse and worse.

Now it just dose not start, only cranks.

I checked all the plugs and they give a bright arc when watching them as I crank.

I have good fuel pressure at the rail.

Oil checks good.

Grounds are all cleaned and check good.

What should I try now?

Main relay?
It's worth checking, even though it sounds like your engine is doing everything it should besides starting

Any codes on the ecu?

Could it be the crank position or TDC position (if it has one) sensor?  Sounds like it might not be firing just right on the first try and then possibly re-calibrates to be able to start up on the second go.  Just a wild thought.

Hey guys, it was my ingnition switch I took it apart and it was all gummed up inside.

Cleaned the contacts and my car is running like a boss one again.

Thanks for the help!

I had a similar issue a long time ago, but then after a while, mine stopped cranking when I turned the key.

yes, I've had several ignition switch issues over the years.  One prelude I had everything off the ignition switch except the column locking as the contacts progressively eroded and then failed.  Another gen 2 crx would lose all electric power while moving!  Consider yourself lucky.

Lucky indeed..

I have a '90 hatch that I've sent off the main relay and ecu to MadFabLab to have them re-solder them and check

the capacitors, on my 4th throttle body, and still runs like crap and only gets about 25mpg without sooting the plugs

and NO CODES..

It's my daily so I can't really have it down for more than a few hours.

I HATE WIRING ISSUES..

Going to sell it. tired of messing with it and can't contort my ol bones to look under the dash any more. Then, once under there I can't see cause I left my READERS in the house..

NO emissions. I do love Mississippi

This sounds like a timing issue maybe?
