1985 base Civic hatch 1.3/4speed. 224,xxx miles on it now, but they will go up as it's my daily driver. I have pretty much all the history, maintence records, receipts, bills of sale, etc from the car. I am the 3rd owner, and the owner before me was a tech for O'hare Honda in Des Plaines, IL. He bought it from the original owner, and did most of the work too it shortly before I purchased it. PM me for the details. Only modifications to the car are the head-unit out of a 2000 Si, front door speakers are now Pioneers, and the front seats are grey cloth buckets out of a early 90's Accord. The rear bench is still the stock blue vinyl. This is currently my daily driver and I've always had big plans for this car since I bought it, but I'm about to get one of my other projects back on the road, and don't have the money for insurance or space for 2 cars. That being said serious buyers only please. I would like very much to find the car a new home, but am not desperate to do so.
Car is located in Chicago 5 min from O'hare airport. I honestly would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. I put over 19,000 miles on it in less then a year. I average 28-30mpg in the city and 36-38 on the highway using Shell 93 octane, and I am not a light-footed driver. She does burn a small bit of oil in the higher rpms, about a quart every 2 weeks. Otherwise the engine/drivetrain are rock solid.
