painting is almost all prep, If you want it too look descent.
have a good clean space
take your time
prep the car
tape the car
clean the shop
wet the floor
put the paint on (looks easier than it is)
let the paint dry
fix your mistakes
maybe paint the car again

unless your looking for a ruff job thats not going to impress anybody
Id prep the car myself and find someone with a booth to paint it for lets say a bottle of whisky---a big bottle of whisky.

but if your stubborn like me then youll paint it yourself. You might learn something along the way. good luck.

I would recomend a HLVP gun because they have less over spray and paint WAY better than a gravity fed gun.

Did you mean HPLV?

i got a friend of mine a job delivering chinese @ the place i work...

on his first or second day of work, he flat-blacked his 2g DX right behind the shop with six cans of Krylon.

There is usually a reason why someone will "spray bomb" a car like that. And not cause the police just witnesses him doing a good deed by helping an old lady cross the street

do your own prep work and take it in, it wont cost much at all and your paint job will reflect on the time put into your prep work. so take your time

yeah, I forgot what its called... I never used one, just a Gravity feed

The quality of your paint helps alot too... I use dsome really shitty paint when I did the hood of my integra and it sure shows... orange peeled like crazy and looks worse then the krylon job I did on the fender....
