yeah, that guys crawls on Hondatech alot.. he posted in the one thread that me, agressive and ghostone are whoring in the EF section.. his name is Qlogic or something like that.

We need to get him over here...

I was thinking if I had the cash I would try it lol.... pick up a rolled 4th gen vtec and just use all the wiring from it.... or use all the wiring from a EG and get the place racing harness to work with it.

I have seen a H22 VTEC engine on a 1G CRX. I saw it on a local store. I'll try to ask the owner if he let me take some pics of the car. The car doesnt look good on paint but its DOHC VTEC powered biggrin.gif

damn that is sweet. ill bet that thing has mad problems with wheel spin off the line(look at the video) if he could get the power down low 12's are there.....damn i love Hseries.

btw. if that is possible..hell a d16a6swap has got to be a CAKEWALK compared to that!

Ive seen that car run a few times in Pamona. It runs low 12s but he does have a little work done to the motor. Looks even more impressive in real life. Very tight fit. Hseries motors are overrated but the victory is accually getting it to work. There was a even more impressive 86 CRX I saw with a Acura Legend V6 motor in it. It also had a Super CHarger and Nitrous. I think he was from Colorado.

I wonder that too... they seem to be the in swap for the EG/EK crowd as of late....

a grand cheaper then a b18c1... and 30 more hp and about 10-20 more tq.. Ill take that.

Place Racing and HASport are selling mounts and wiring harnesses now too for htose swaps.. if I had a EG that would be the swap I wanted for all motor... I dont like the whole closed deck thing on the H22 though... I heard their harder to sleeve.

And I ran across an H23....yes 23...today....with tranny

It just needs to be stripped down, bearings, pistons/rings replace.....for cheap....

And I thought...hmmmmmmmmmm....

But I am not sure if I would tackle that project yet....

yeah, Honda came out with a lot of engines that just never really caught on. I have a B21 in my garage right now, that my dad is rebuilding for a guy. Apparently they only came in the '90/'91 Prelude Si. You learn something new every day! smile.gif
