Thanx for all the good input. I have solved the #2 issue by readjusting all the valves, the rt way. But now I have another issue that gas me stumped. I was driving it home last nt which is a hr away and the car was doing fine and about 10 miles from the house is started stuttering and cut off on me. I believe it gas something to do with the marvel mystic I put in it. I changed the fuel filter and it's pumping fuel rt. I took the fuel rail off with the injector s. And they're working rt. I'm wondering if it could have something to do with the intake manifold, after I messed around with all that it started up and I drove it a few more miles then bogged down and shut off again on me and will start but not stay running. Something to do with my fuel to air ratio. Any ideas anyone

You may have to start another thread on the new issue to get interest. If I took a wild stab at it, I'd guess your fuel pump isn't keeping up. Any codes/CEL?

It sounds like you have a whole new issue now. As stated above try a new thread. You may want to check your connectors on mass air flow sensor and anything else in that area. not all that uncommon to have something a little loose after doing so much work on the engine.

Yeah believe it or not the problem was a too tight/bad distributor cap!!! I just asked my girlfriend to call a tow truck and decided to take the distributor cap off just cause, not thinking it could be my problem. But it was my whole issue. So I learn something new everyday. Now my car drives like a new car! Drove it to work today and hopefully I've worked out the kinks. Next I'll be doing my whole suspension ! So you'll probably be seeing me postssome trouble shooting for that on here Lol. So Thanx for all the info it was very helpful.

If you got new valves and the the valves are .002 of difference you need to regrind the valve seats because they will not seat properly and are positioned differently. That's assuming you reused the old valve guides and seats
