Hasport and Innovative along with alot of other people make B-series to D-series A/C compressor mounts. Youll have to research if our compressors are the same as the D-series. Or just figure out how to make some lines fit the D-series compressor and our Evaporator/condensor.

I thought the AC compressor for the B-series were better ... SO i was going to use them and make hoses to go to the crx system. All stock parts
Is there A better WAY????

There isnt really a "better" ac compressor, everything is rotary piston nowdays. If your talking like chevy trucks then there is a Better one.
The D-series one is just smaller. But most people that are wanting to Keep A/C are just swaping a B-series motor into a Civic that a D-series motor in them original. If your doing K-series or H-series your more worried about power than A/C.

I think the AC comp. that was on TRENT's was a two piston ... big old thing I should have more options with the B18 for better AC comp. YES...NO ????
I got all the TEG. disk brakes in this weekend SO next reinstall the B18 The rewire was done the only thing I need is an EX header But if i have to stock will work... Fab. up EX. sys. and shifter linkage

Mine looks exactly like that. I got the red poly mounts tho, yours must be the stiffer poly.
You can really run AC with these kits? looks like its gonna be a very tight fit

much.
Driver side and rear mount in.
[qoute]
here are my driverside and tranny side mounts
as you look and compare closely its obvious that these are two different design.
My mounts pull the engine forward causing the rear mount being off (rear mounts never got the re-design like the front two)
Your mounts pushes the engine back (thats why the manifold is hitting the firewall)
just for fun

???? What would happen if you put the rear mount is first??? At the fire wall and at the front corner of the valve cover ??
About the AC I had a machine shop cut the power steering pulley off. Because i could not find a pulley for the B-s with the ALt. / AC pulley only There will be some mods on the Frame I think...

well i cant even put the rear mount on first because the manifold would hit the firewall before it would bolt up. I might be able to if i tilt engine really forward but that would cause the two front mounts to be way off.

Even it they redesigned the kit the rear mount parts on my kit and yours all look the same... When i mounted my ENG.. with the rear mount first . The ENG up against the fire wall. the ENG look to high and to much room between the valve cover and the front cross member.
What is your gap at the fire wall???

well thats what im saying when they re-designed these mounts they forgot to redesign the rear one. Thats why i have the same rear mount as the old ones
With the two front mounts bolted up i have about 1/2 inch or less of manifold clearance.

Are rear mounts are the same. My right and left front mounts are Before they changed the mounts. So my Front mounts I had to weld and re drill the holes 1/2 " forward and it all fits ( I think right) So if you have the new front mounts and the same rear mount as I do Why did it not fit ???? Is there that munch Difference in these cars???? Both Cars that i have put B1.8 in (crx 84,85) I have had to PLAY with the mounts.... If you had the longer front mounts It would move your ENG back the !/2" you need. But would it fit or hit the fire wall???? IF all goes well I will put the ENG. back in and start mocking up all the rest exhaust, Intake, THE battery... I want to move it... Shift linkage Make it, Dash VVS.
