My crx is getting 65 miles per gallon on 93 octane with around 140hp and 135fpt. With a gude cam 242/242duration and 443/443lift, weber 32/36 DGEV carb kit went up 1 jet size, pocket ported head, MSD blaster box, 2inch hedman hedder, 1/34 piping, NGK vpower plugs, and devac the engine bay. The car hauls ass and gets good gas milage.

The big question is, "Will it pass California Emissions?"

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

Ya know, I'm tired of my measly 32mpg, I'm thinking of getting this cool gadget off eBay:

Why do i doubt that? ? Like rolling down the hill in neutral? its a nice setup, but the mpg's seem impossible.
Someday my car will look as clean and sexy as this:

-1997 318ti DD

-1989 240sx sold on CL

-1985 CRX DX, sold to Justin

-1985 CRX Si, sold to Indyman.

-1991 CRX Si, totaled in the mountains, RIP

Very interesting. As I am about to rebuild an EW1, I am interested in what you have done. It almost sounds too good to be true.

That TQ is massive also..

I'm guessing you must be a little more built than EW1 with bolt ons, cams, and carbs..

Nope, dry.gif I'm not buyin' it.

The numbers don't add up.

If you love the Elise, drive a Se7en - Caterham or whatever...
It has even less content than the Elise, is less graceful looking
...and changes direction like a ping pong ball whacked by Thor.
