You have been bugging me for nearly 3 years......now, here we go....

Here is the price breakdown:

OEM USDM Style (no bump):
Fiberglass is $300, and carbon fiber is $350

ZC JDM Style (yeah, bump):
--Can't offer at the moment since I have no ZC hood to make a mold of--

Shipping is going to be $165 anywhere in the country (USA, that is). Pickup is encourged smile.gif $395 to ship TWO international, you pickup at your port.

It does not matter what combination of FG or CF we get, just that there are 10 hoods. No one-piece will be offered. The Civic design does not lend itself to this type of hood like the CRX does.

Thanks for working on it. Smile

Marcus

i'd be willing to buy one if you could ship it up here to canada..... my hubby as i said before works at the local trades college as a storekeep (he's the tool guy) in the autobody shop. if he was able to get a brand new bodykit for a brand new aveo across the border when he was told it couldnt be done i'm sure there is a way to ship a cf hood over as well.

i could however have it shipped to one of my friends in the USA and they could ship it to me or to the school.

crap!!! i really just want the dayum cf hood!!

maybe i'll have to find someone local to make one for me.... then at least us canadians would have a place to get them from.

right on Marcus, way to step up to teh plate for 3G civic owners!

As an owner of 2 CF CRX hoods, I can definitely attest to their quality, especially for the price and exclusivity.

How much do they (non-ZC style) weigh? CF vs Fiberglass?

You're damn right! I'm interested in a CF OEM USDM-style hood. This is probably a bad time of year for a lot of people, at least it is for me. But once the holidays are over, I'll contact you if my money situation is good.

Thanks for givin' some love to the 3G crowd!

would be nice but with converting it to cdn funds and the shipping i think its a bit much. i dont know really what it cost to make but 522-600 for a hood i thinki may stay stock.

Good point there.....I am confident we will get somewhere. It would be nice to be able to finish these by the time you all are going to be able to use them though.

I'm interested, need to reduce front end weight to compensate for B20, but need to finish swap and decide the fate of the intake/platnum expansion chamber on the B20Z before I can commit. I did bookmark this thread though. Could it come with a hump big enough, or a shaker design, to fit the B20Z and expansion camber (w/hasport mounts) under it?
