I am amazed that the bar clears the stock air filter! Does it hit/rub on the under side of the hood?

that doesn't look quite right... correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the sleeve is supposed to go on the bottom

No that's the right way for GC's on our CRX.. What is WRONG is the sleeve is rubbing on the strut due to not having centering O rings in there.. Go to the hardware store and get some O rings that will go around the strut and center that sleeve before more expensive parts get ruined.

What's going on with the strut towers? It looks like there's been some welding done.

Thanks for your input. The sleeve is certainly rubbing on the strut. Can you describe to me what this O ring looks like. Is this something that should have come with the Groundcontrol kit.

I think it's undercoating spray. I tried to clean it off but it won't come off.

I had ground control coilover kit the same as you have with tokico illuminas, but ended up ditching the upsidedown spring install in favor of some integra rear springs and flipping the tube right-side-up and using allen head set screws to center and hold the sleve in place, this will eliminate the need of an upper adapter, cause the integra springs are thicker that crx and they open up at the top to seat in the factory rubber stopper, lot cleaner look i think, but ya you might sacrafice a little in overal spring pressure, but I think they have aftermarket springs now that fit much better and are stiff and still flare out at the top, you should look into it.
