lol you think so huh... Hotcakes?
More like hes going to want like $300+ each for these which is a totally fair price and people will balk, just like they do for every other custom part sold on here. Theres a handful with money that will get one if they can, and thatll be that.

Wing looks AWESOME by the way. I wish I had the time, patience, and skill to fab like that!!!

I hope I didnt offend you, OP. I think this part is worth every penny of $300.
Whatever you charge is totally up to you though of course.

Looks like top notch fab work and while the materials to reproduce this wing will not be too much money, the time and effort you put into making the original certainly has to be accounted for.

And again, wing looks awesome. Progress from last pics is amazing.
If I had a 3G id be all over this. Hell im thinkin about buying one in case I ever do get a hatchy!

You need to get a certificate for it, that I could put it on my hatch in a legal way! rolleyes.gif

no i wasnt offended dont worry
ill have to charge on the quality and finish
im just an enthuiastic ameture at this
this spoiler production project just happened by accident
im supposed to br just doing a one ioff kit for my car thats been in my head for years
but i want one for my car too
i hope ive got a good shape to the spoiler
and i hope i can do a good job on the moulding
theres a government dept here looking into what i need to do to export
i think it includes a lot of paperwork no surprise there i think........ huh.gif
i think i have to set up a limited company to sell them too
but ill know more in a weeks time
i think ill have a word with a solicitor i know too on the legal stuff
a friend of mine has told me that he thinks the paperwork is complicated
and the liability issues too
and thats what puts people off doing things like this
the thing is...the easiest part of selling these will probably be the actual construction of the spoilers
so far ive noted 27 people that would like an si type spoiler
this includes the uk members
so ill see where this goes i can only try my best

ill be working on it thes weekend
and cant wait to see how much i get done
everywhere is covered in dust
nothing different there laugh.gif
but its fun well so far anyway
and i want one for my car too
thats the thing about an enthuiastic 3g owner

heres a few more photos
its been a very dusty day sanding the ends to a shape i liked ph34r.gif
i have a cheap hairdryer to blow all the dust away
ive also managed the straighten up the trailing edge
it was a bit wavey in places
i should get the underside well started tomorrow
i hope you all like the look of it

You have successfully resolved the contour problem.
You will have the most success in replicating this wing.
Spot on! Well done chap! biggrin.gif
